Dec 07, 2012 · Slic3r 072b has perimeter starts in the middle of the tufts, which 097 hid better. The perimeters are a little uneven in 072b which 097 improves on, but still left some gaps. KISSlicer has the most steady lines and solid fill. It’s a close call between Slic3r 097 and KISSlicer for the owl, only because of the way KISSlicer handled the back.
If two adjacent paths are too close (or too much material is extruded), they'll overlap. If two adjacent paths are too distant (or not enough material is extruded), gaps will be visible and/or the extrusions will delaminate because of not enough bonding.
June 2016 in Slic3r Since i updated my OS to Windows 10, setting of the infill density dosn't change the printedout material density. Even when it is sett to 5%, the printed out object is 100% fully.

One thing users fail to realize is that Slic3r and CURA at it’s core contains the same features. Those features are usually just expressed differently.
